1 card a settimana - Week 7

Arrivo all'ultimo tuffo con la card della settimana, ma ora che il lavoro si sta intensificando il mio tempo si perde.

I'm arriving on the last moment with the weekly card, my work is increasing and my free time get lost.

Per la settima settimana il vincolo erano gli animali. Vi mostro 3 card, molto diverse tra loro.

For the seventh week the obligatory elements were animals. I'll show you 3 cards, very diffferents between themselves.

La prima card mi era stata richiesta per una bimba appena nata: ho utilizzato un timbro con una tenera giraffa (Aladine) colorata con matite acquerellabili. Al collo della giraffa un nastro rosa. Ho aggiunto anche un paio di farfalle svolazzanti

The first card was asked for new born girl: I used a tender Giraffe stamp (Aladine) colored with watercolor pencils. To the giraffe''s neck there's a rose ribbon. I added too 2 flying butterflys.

La seconda card, è piena di animaletti, si tratta di una serie di timbri Stampin'up "Forest friends". L'unico timbro che non è Stampin'up è l'uccellino che fa parte di un set della Toga.

Il cielo è fatto con una spugnetta distress.

The second card is full of animals, it is a Stampin'Up set "Forest friends", except for the bird that is part of a Toga set. the sky is distressed with a sponge.

La terza card è nata per lo scambio Scrapboom, e la tag è realizzata con 3 timbri diversi: lo sfondo a scritta è il timbro "Friend definition" della Clings di Hero Arts. Il secondo, i fiori in fucsia è un timbro Stampin Up della serie "Pensée en fleur" e per finire la gabbia con l'uccellino è un timbro Stampavie "Bird cage"

The third card has born for Scrapboom swap Asi; and the tag is realized with 3 differents stamps: the written background is realized with the stamp Clings- Hero Arts "Friend definition", the second fuchsia flowers is a Stampin'Up stamp from set "Pensée en fleur" and the last one thecage with the bird is a Stampavie stamp "Bird cage".

Non solo scrap

Stavolta invece che parlare di scrapbooking vi voglio fare vedere un lavoro di decoupage. Dietro c'è una storia naturalmente.

This time, instead of speaking about scrapbooking I want to show you a decoupage job. Of course there's an history about!!

Tempo fa ho trovato la mia vicina che faceva pulizia in cantina, e tra le cose da buttare c'era un vecchio bollitore in acciaio. Che peccato!!! Così le ho chiesto se potevo prenderlo e lei ha detto sì.

Times ago I found my neighbour cleaning her wine cellar and among the things to be thrown there was an old boiler in steel. What a pity!!! This way I have asked her if I could pick it she said yes.

Prima di iniziare a dare la base di acrilico ho dovuto stendere l'aggrappante per permettere alla vernice di aderire all'acciaio, poi ho fatto il primo strato di bianco.

Before beginning to give the base of acrylic I have had to stretch the seizing one to allow the varnish to stick to the steel, then I have made the first layer of white.

Poi ho deciso di fare la parte bassa in verde, e ho utilizzato una spugna texture invece del pennello per dare un effetto un po' diverso, mentre il becco e il bordo alto li ho dipinti con il pennello.

Then I have decided to make the low part in green, and I have used a sponge texture instead of the brush to give an effect some different, while the beak and the tall edge I have painted them with the brush.

Infine ho tagliato i piccoli girasole che ho messo su tutto il contorno del bollitore. Dopo aver passato la vernice di finitura ho decorato il manico con del nastro di carta. Ecco il risultato finale!!

I have finally cut the small sunflower that I have put on the whole contour of the boiler. After having passed the varnish of finish I have decorated the handle with some ribbon of paper. Here is the final result!!

L'ho restituito alla vicina (meravigliata.....), che l'ha portato alla fioraia per farci fare una composizione di fiori finti come le avevo suggerito e ora è così!!

I gave it back to my neighbor (marveled....), that has brought him the florist for stuffed to make a composition of false flowers as had suggested her and is now this way!!

1 card a settimana - Week 6 - Happy Valentine!!!

Potevo fare questo post già da qualche giorno, ma sono stata assalita da un attacco di pigrizia, anche se ho scrappato parecchio. Allora per la 6^ settimana Rita ha deciso, visto la vicinanza dell'occasione, che la card fosse quella di San Valentino e il requisito obbligatorio naturalmente era un cuore!!

I could make this post since some days, but I was lazy.... even if I scrapped a lot!!! For the 6th week Rita decided, due to the incoming occasion, that the card has to be a Valentine one and obligatory element was an Heart.

Di card ne ho realizzate 2, non le solite cards, ma un po' diverse, una per la sfida Asi e l'altra per la sfida di febbraio di Scrappando che richiedeva una card con almeno un cuore ma che non avesse la solita forma tradizionale da card.

I realized 2 cards, not the same cards of ever, but a bit different, one is for Asi challenge and the other is for Scrappando's February challenge that asked for a card with at least an heart but not a traditional card.

Cominciamo con la card Asi: ho realizzato una card tri-folder, apparentemente semplice ma con un grande cuore nel mezzo che chiude la card a strappo con il velcro. Ho utilizzato carte "My minds eye" della serie "Love me do" e il cuore è un timbro Stampin'up "Be my Valentine" embossato.

Let's beginn with Asi's card: i realized a tri-folder card, apparenlty simple but with a big hearth in the middle that close tha card with tear closer (velcro): i used papers "My minds eye "Love me do" serie and the big heart is Stampin'up stamp "Be my valentine"

La card per la sfida Scrappando è stata una sfida con me stessa. Avevo visto tra le foto di un'altra scrapper Elisa su Fb la Napking folded card, che mi ha affascinato e ho deciso che l'avrei realizzata. Ho cercato un tutorial che ho trovato in inglese su Splicoaststampers e ho iniziato il lavoro.

The card for Scrappando's challenge was a challenge with myself. I saw between the pictures of another scrapper on Fb Elisa a Napking folded card that affascinated me, and i decided that I had to realize it. I looked after a tutorial and I found it in English on Splicoaststampers, so I started the work on it.

Naturalmente nella traduzione delle misure da americane alle nostre ho avuto qualche difficoltà, e soprattutto all'inizio non riuscivo a capire il senso delle piegature. Prima di raggiungere lo scopo ho sprecato 2 bazzil, il primo perchè era troppo pesante e quindi si piegava male, il secondo perchè avevo sbagliato il border scallop.

Of course I had some troubles translating measures from Usa's to ours, and overall at the beginning I had some difficulties to understand how to score the card to make it right. Before to join the end I wasted 2 bazzils: the first was too heavy to score it and on the second I made a mistake with the border scallop.

Alla fine però ci sono riuscita e sono molto orgogliosa del risultato!!

At the end I was able to do it, and I'm very proud of the result!!!!

Ho usato carte "My minds eye" della serie "Love me do", punch Stampin'Up border + corner, all'esterno sulla chiusura ho usato un centrino sottobicchiere, un cuore di sughero con sopra un cuore timbrato con "couer toilé" di Florileges design, più un altro piccolo cuore ritagliato dal timbro "Tu & Io" e poi decorato con Glossy accents. Tocco finale una rosellina bianca e sui 4 angoli ho applicato 4 cuoricini tagliati con fustella sizzix mini die "Scribbles #4". Le pieghe e i bordi sono distressati.

I used papers "My minds eye "Love me do", punch border + corner Stampin'Up, outside on the closing I have used a centers coaster, a cork heart with above a stamped heart with "couer toilé" of Florileges design, and another small heart cutted from the "Tu & Io" Stamp and decorated with glossy accents. On the 4 corners. Final touch a small white rose and I applied 4 small hearts cutted with Sizzix small die cut "Scribbles #4" on the corners. Borderds and scores are distressed.

1 card a settimana - Week 5

Anche questa settimana sono presente. Stavolta Rita ha deciso che aveva bisogno di coccole, e cosa c'è di meglio di un tenero cupcakes per addolcirsi la giornata?? Quindi il vincolo della settimana è il cupcake!

I'm present this week too. This time Rita decided that she needed tenderness, so what is better of a sweet cupcake to have a sweeter day? So the obligatory element this week is the cupcake.

Per realizzare la card ho utilizzato timbri Stampin Up della serie 4 Squares e Cute by the inches con Versamark e polvere embossante Imagepac tono viola e rosa iridescente, carte We'r memory Keepers e DCWV e un nastro fine rosa per fare un fiocco.

To realize the card, I used Stampin'Up stamps "4 squares" and "Cute by the Inch, with Versamark and rose and violet embossing powder Imagepac, papers We'r memory keepers and DCWV and a rose ribbon.

Scrap e Matrimoni - Scrap and Weddings

Tra il 2010 e il 2011 ho realizzato dei tableau nozze e i relativi cartelli con i nomi dei tavoli per 2 matrimoni.

Between 2010 and 2011 i realized wedding tableau and relatives sign with tables's names for 2 weddings.

Il primo matrimonio è stato quello dei miei amici Sandro e Rita. Come tema delle nozze avevano scelto i nomi di coppie di innamorati celebri, da Romeo e Giulietta a Paolo e Francesca fino a finire ai moderni Edward e Bella. Ho scelto dei colori soft sul rosa, glicine, e un po' di fucsia per ravvivare.

The first wedding was the one of my friends Rita and Sandro. As Wedding theme they choosed names of famous pairs of lovers such as Romeo and Juliett, Paolo and Francesca and going through the modern Edward and Bella. I choosed soft colors around rose, wistaria, and some fucsia.

Ho utilizzato un cartoncino bristol bianco, i contorni il ho ornati con del tulle rosa e poichè il biadesivo non era sufficiente a tenerlo fermo ed ho dovuto fissarlo con la spillatrice, ho realizzato un bordo scallopato e coperto tutto il contorno.

I used a white cardstock, I decorated the borders with some rose tulle and since the bi-adhesive was not enough to hold I stop it and I have had to stare at it with the matellics points, I have realized a scalloped border and covered the whole contour.

Per i tavoli ho utilizzato dei cartoncini bianchi sui quali ho scritto i nome delle persone, poi li ho tagliati tondi con la big shot e li ho incollato a dei cerchi scallop più grandi di colore glicine perlato.
For the tables I have used some white cardboards on which I have written the name of the people, then I have cut them round with the big shot and I have glued them to some greater scallop rounds of color wistaria pearly.

Poichè il cartoncino base bianco non mi piaceva quando ho provato sistemare i nomi dei tavoli, alla fine ho deciso di ravvivarlo con il Glimmer Mist color Swak (rosa acceso), ho usato degli stencil per far risaltare alcune parti in bianco.

Since I didn't like the white basic cardboard when I have tried to systematize the names of the tables, at the end I have decided to revive it with the Glimmer Mist color Swak (rose turned on), I have used some stencils to make to jump some parts in white.

I fiori sono realizzati con la stoffa a mano e decorati con perle.

Flowers are handmaded with fabric and decorated with some pearls.

E questi sono i segna posto per i tavoli: su un lato il nome della coppia e l'immagine che la rappresenta, e sull'altro una frase che la rappresentava (brani tratti da libri e testi teatrali)

And these are the it marks place for the tables: on a side the name of the couple and an image of them and on the other a sentence that represented them (passages drawn by books and theatrical texts)

Il lavoro per secondo matrimonio invece mi è stato richiesto a meno di una settimana dalle nozze: il ristorante aveva richiesto il tableau agli sposi e loro non sapevano cosa dovevano fare, quindi un'amica comune mi ha chiesto se lo volessi fare.

Instead the job for the second wedding has been me requested to less than a week from the wedding: the restaurant had asked for the tableau the bridegrooms and them they didn't know what they had to do, therefore a common friend has asked if I wanted to do it.

Il cartoncino che mi hanno portato era fucsia, quindi ho lavorato con colori più soft rispetto al primo tableau, ma sempre con lo stesso stile. Per dare un tocco di delicatezza, ho decorato intorno ai tavoli con un volo di farfalle bianche perlate. Ecco qui il risultato.

The cardboard that they have brought me was fuchsia, therefore I have worked with more colors soft in comparison to the first tableau, but always with the same style. To give a touch of delicacy, has decorated around the tables with a flight of pearly white butterflies. Here here the result.

I segnaposti per i tavoli qui erano molto più semplici, anche perchè non avevo un tema vero e proprio , ma solo nomi di località care agli sposi e difficili da collegare.

The marks for the tables they were very simple, also because I didn't have a real theme, but only names of places dear to the bridegrooms and difficult to be connected together.
